Employee:Ok. So...how was working for Chris Matthews?
Me:Fine.
Employee:Uh huh...um...how much did you make at your last job?
Me:...really?
Employee:Sorry, I was just curious. Uh, do you have a weekly band practice or performance or something?
Me:Not.. no. Nothing I can't schedule around.
Employee:Ok--so we generally have two five hour shifts. Either 10am to 3 pm or 6pm to 1am.
Me:Uh...ok...
Employee:And pay is negotiable.
Me:...great!
Employee:Ok, well, we'll let you know if we ever want to use you for a shift.
Me:Great...wait. What?
Employee:We'll consider you. Thanks.
