Ironic trivia time?

Toei licensed two marvel heroes to turn into live action shows in Japan, Spiderman and Captain America. Spiderman’s show you see before you, and he came about during the giant robot craze… so they gave him a giant robot.

They turned Captain America into the third “Sentai Series", Battle Fever J, a team of 5 international heroes including Battle Japan, Battle France, Battle Kenya, Battle Cossack and Ms. America. They also had a giant robot. The “Super Sentai" series, ever since Battle Fever J, has included a giant robot.

In 1992, the Sentai Series Zyuranger was brought to America as “Power Rangers".


Yes, Captain America is indirectly responsible for Power Rangers.

Now I know.

"Rape Stove: The Stove That Rapes People"

The Lunch Gun was my favourite thing from this project, until I finished this. I love this fake dvd cover. Many thanks to Katie, Joe, Becky, Jeremy, Zannie, Colette, and Callie from the DSI Comedy Theater for posing for this the day before I needed to have this finished. They brought cheesy 1970s costumes and everything! This was a rush job, but I love the way it turned out.
